In March, five Food and Cosmetics companies received five FDA inspections in Maryland, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Food and Cosmetics companies FDA inspections were the only type of inspections made in Maryland during March.

Of all the Maryland companies involved in Food and Cosmetics, Mama Vida, Inc. received the most citations from the FDA in March.

The FDA routinely inspects facilities across the nation to determine if the workplaces and their products are compliant with FDA-regulated laws and regulations implemented to improve overall public health.
