2023: Maryland ranks 42nd nationwide for total received in EDA grants, at $1,354,146

In 2023, Maryland received $1,354,146 in EDA grants for economic development projects, ranking 42nd nationwide, according to the US Economic Development Administration (EDA).

The program that received the largest share of funds was economic adjustment assistance, which accounted for $936,223 in total grants.

The EDA is a federal government agency focusing exclusively on economic development.
