Earlier this week, Governor Wes Moore announced a commitment of $15 million through the State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI). The initiative is managed by three state agencies across nine different programs. These programs provide loans or investment equity opportunities.

SSBCI initiatives focus on communities and areas with a high concentration of small, micro, and Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Individual (SEDI) businesses.
