Rep. Glenn Ivey, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Maryland’s 4th district, has shared several updates via his social media account. His recent posts focus on his activities and stances regarding federal worker support, refugee aid, and membership growth in a labor caucus.

On March 7, Rep. Ivey tweeted about his efforts in Washington against policies of the Trump Administration: "I spent my time in Washington this week fighting against the Trump Administration . On March 10, he commented on the dismantling of Black Lives Matter Plaza: "Today marks a sad day in American history— the beginning of the dismantling of the Black Lives Matter Plaza. In 2020, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser dedicated the plaza to the memory of George Floyd— killed by a police officer in Minneapolis months earlier.".

Later that same day, Rep. Ivey announced reaching a milestone as Vice-Chair for a labor caucus: "As a Vice-Chair for the @Labor_Caucus, I am excited to announce that we have just reached our highest ever membership number.".
