Rep. Glenn Ivey, representing Maryland's 4th district in the U.S. Congress, has been vocal about his political stance and concerns regarding current administration policies through a series of tweets. On March 11, 2025, Ivey addressed several issues ranging from congressional responsibilities to local legal appointments.

On March 11, 2025, Rep. Glenn Ivey tweeted about his appearance on MSNBC with host Chris Jansing. He expressed his dissatisfaction with the current administration's decisions and emphasized the need for Congress to take action. "Earlier today, I joined MSNBC’s host @ChrisJansing to discuss the concerns of the American people. We must continue to fight back against this administration’s terrible decisions. Frankly, it’s Congresses moment to stand up and do our part. Enough is enough."

In another tweet on the same day, Rep. Ivey announced an upcoming Town Hall meeting at Suitland High School Auditorium scheduled for March 18th. The event aims to provide updates from Congress and address actions by the Trump administration that he considers harmful. "Join me for a Town Hall on Tuesday, March 18 at Suitland High School Auditorium from 6:30 to 7:30 pm."

Later that day, Rep. Ivey commented on Ed Martin's nomination as U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, criticizing Martin's lack of relevant experience and suggesting that his interests lie more in politics than law enforcement. "The U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia plays a critically important role not just in federal prosecutions but also local prosecutions as well."
