In another tweet posted on March 13, 2025, he stressed: "It is crucial to the future of the American people that the upcoming spending agreement is bipartisan. Congress must continue to work together on a bipartisan bill to protect programs critical to our communities across the country."

In an additional statement made on March 13, 2025, Rep. Ivey celebrated what he described as progress in safeguarding federal workers' rights against actions linked to former President Trump and wealthy individuals lacking electoral mandates: "This is a great development and a win for democracy. We will not stop fighting to protect our federal workers against the illegal actions of Trump and unelected billionaires."
