Rep. Glenn Ivey, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Maryland’s 4th district, has recently shared insights from his activities and interactions with constituents through a series of tweets. Ivey, who replaced Anthony Brown in 2023, discussed various issues including public dissatisfaction with political decisions and community engagement.

On March 19, 2025, Rep. Ivey addressed feedback he received from his constituents during a town hall meeting, expressing their frustrations over political decisions. He stated: "Earlier on @CNN, I talked about the feedback that I heard from my constituents at our town hall last night. Right now, people across my district AND the country are frustrated that no one has put an end to Trump’s disastrous decisions. I hear you and @HouseDemocrats hear you."

Later that day, Rep. Ivey highlighted the significance of Democratic efforts to regain control in government after hosting a large town hall meeting in Forestville, MD: "Yesterday, I hosted a townhall with over 800 constituents at Suitland HS in Forestville, MD. I heard their outrage, fears, & the need for Democrats to fight back to protect the American people. So where do we start? We must take the House back and hope that the courts continue to…"

Additionally, on March 19, Rep. Ivey recounted attending a worship service over the weekend at Kingdom Fellowship AME Church in Beltsville, MD: "Over the weekend, I joined Pastor Watley at Kingdom Fellowship AME Church for worship service in Beltsville, MD. I enjoyed the service, fellowshipped with community members and even ran into some Kappas!"
