He stated, "Last week, DOGE fired thousands of workers at HHS, including 300 employees at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), including folks at the Coordination Office, which will disrupt coverage and negatively affect the health and well-being of seniors dually enrolled in https://t.co/5NeelerME0".

On April 8, 2025, Rep. Ivey shared his appreciation for members of a nonprofit organization focused on children's healthcare. He wrote, "It was a pleasure to meet and talk with Libby Ireson and her colleagues with OnCall4Kids. https://t.co/j19vmJm00B".

Later that day, Rep. Ivey reflected on his interaction with a local news figure, Leon Harris, who was making a career change. He expressed his regards: "I was just at an inspirational event a few weeks back with Leon Harris. While you may be leaving NBC4 Washington News you're not leaving the community! We will miss you on air during the dinner hour but will see you around the DMV making a difference. Thanks for all the years https://t.co/GoIWJmRBoD".
