The average VA home loan amount in Maryland during the third quarter of the fiscal year 2023 was $475,043, a 6.5% increase over the previous quarter, according to the Veterans Affairs Home Loans Index.
With $432,588 in issued loans, Maryland ranked seventh for the average amount of a VA home loan in 2022, according to figures provided by the Veteran Affairs Home Loans Index.
Of the 6,148,545 citizens living in Maryland in 2021, 77.7% were old enough to vote, equating to 4,775,396 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.
