Allegany County – MD issued the following announcement on Dec. 3.

Notice of Action: At its December 1, 2021 board meeting, the Allegany County Board of Elections took a preliminary vote on the following polling places with a final vote (by email if necessary) taking place with the redistricting process:

• Combine Salvation Army Community Center (4-8) with Fort Hill High School (4-4)
• Move Mountain Ridge High School (12) from the bus entrance to the gym
• Move Midland Fire Station (18) to Midland Fire Hall
• Retain the current polling place at the Frostburg Community Center (26)

The Allegany County Board of Elections voted to retain the ballot drop boxes from the 2020 election. The following locations will have ballot drop boxes in 2022:

• Allegany County Office Complex – 701 Kelly Road, Cumberland
• Mountain Ridge High School – 100 Dr. Nancy S. Grasmick Ln, Frostburg
