ANNE ARUNDEL COMMUNITY COLLEGE: 2022 Reflections

Let's reflect on a few of the top moments from 2022...

1. 1,867 students graduated and received 2,462 degrees and certificates.

2. Along with AACPS, AACC announced free tuition and fees for AACPS students in dual enrollment programs.

3. The Clauson Building held its first classes.

4. The Health and Life Sciences Building earned LEED Gold Certification as well as other awards for its design and construction.

5. AACC launched the Journal of Emerging Scholarship, a collection of undergraduate research by AACC students.

6. The first class of the African American Leadership Institute (AALI) celebrated its closing session.

7. Riverhawk teams spent a combined 28 weeks ranked nationally, and 10 student-athletes were named All-American.

8. The number of transfer agreements increased by 12%.

9. Crosby Marketing launched $100,000 scholarship program for underrepresented students with AACC.

10. AACC held an in-person Open House in October with more than 600 attendees.

We can't wait to see what 2023 brings!
