On July 28, Rep. Ivey wrote: "I joined Team Maryland to inspect the federal ICE facility in Baltimore, but we were denied entry. Fear may fade, but the shame of refusing transparency will be felt for generations. #CongressionalOversight #Justice #Accountability".
The following day, on July 29, Rep. Ivey announced an upcoming event: " Friendly Reminder: Just 2 Days Until Our Medicaid Town Hall in Greenbelt! Rep. Glenn Ivey began his tenure representing Maryland's 4th district after succeeding Anthony Brown in 2023. Before serving in Congress, he was a member of the Maryland House of Representatives and has resided in Cheverly since his birth in Chelsea, Massachusetts in 1961. He holds degrees from Princeton University and Harvard Law School.
