Item 1 – Schroeder Industries Business Expansion – Jeffrey S. Barclay, Director of Economic & Community Development.

Item 2 – Youth Apprenticeship Initiative – Brandon S. Butler, County Administrator, and Dr. David A. Cox, Ed.D., Superintendent of Schools.

PUBLIC HEARING

Item 3 – Code Home Rule Bill 6-18 – Public Hearing – “Water and Sewer Projects Bond Authorization - $2,600,000 to Include Braddock Run and Bedford Road Sewer Projects” – Jason M. Bennett, CPA, Director of Finance.

CTION AGENDA

Item 4 – Resolution 18-37 – Enterprise Zone Recertification – Board of County Commissioners to approve Resolution 18-37 which certifies that certain companies meet local standards for the Gateway and Route 220 South Enterprise Zones. It further certifies that certain properties in the Gateway and Route 220 South Enterprise Zones and the Frostburg Enterprise Zone qualify for real property tax credits authorized by Tax Article 9-103 of the Annotated Code of Maryland – Jeffrey S. Barclay, Director of Economic & Community Development.

Item 5 – Appointment of the County Administrator as the County Clerk – William M. Rudd, County Attorney.

CONSENT AGENDA

Item 6 – Bedford Road Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation – Evitts Creek, Contract No. S-88 Phase VI Request to Bid – Board of County Commissioners to authorize the Department of Public Works Utilities Division to advertise the Bedford Road Area Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation – Evitts Creek Phase VI, and authorize the County Commissioners to sign the associated funding documents for this project.

Item 7 – Board of Education of Allegany County Fiscal Year 2020 Capital Improvement Program – Board of County Commissioners to approve the Board of Education’s Fiscal Year 2020 Capital Improvement Program. The Board’s request includes the Bel Air Elementary Roof Replacement, Career Center Roof Replacement - Phase 1, and the Washington Middle School Boiler Replacement.

Item 8 – Adult Public Guardianship Review Board Re-Appointments – Board of County Commissioners to approve the re-appointments of Carolyn Clauson Andrews, Connie Davis, James Walsh, and Mary Ann Reinhard to the Adult Public Guardianship Review Board. Their terms will expire on June 30, 2021.

Item 9 – Allegany County Mental Health Advisory Board Appointment – Board of County Commissioners to approve the appointment of Carey Moffatt as a member of the Allegany County Mental Health Advisory Board who will be filling the remaining term vacated by Joy Reckley-Murphy. Ms. Moffatt’s term will expire on June 30, 2021.

Item 10 – 2018 Salvage Yard License Issuances – Board of County Commissioners to approve the issuance of a 2018 license for salvage yard operation to TC Race Cars Inc., 12304 Upper George’s Creek Road, SW, Frostburg, Maryland, subject to the payment of $100 licensing fee.
