Maryland Administrative Office of the Courts issued the following announcement on Dec. 11.
On Tuesday, December 11, Maryland Court of Appeals Chief Judge Mary Ellen Barbera will meet with students who participated in the Judiciary's 13th Annual Conflict Resolution Day Art Contest. The awards ceremony and reception will be held at the Judicial College Education and Conference Center in Annapolis. The media are invited to attend the reception, which will begin at 4 p.m.Chief Judge Barbera will present awards to young artists and meet with the students and their families. The contest, which is sponsored by the Maryland Judiciary’s Mediation and Conflict Resolution Office (MACRO), received 1,233 entries from students across Maryland, with 13 bookmarks chosen as winners and 14 as honorable mentions.
