Anne Arundel County Economic Development Corporation issued the following announcement on Feb. 20.
Last week Trane donated a a state-of-the-art Variable Refrigerant Flow System to students at the Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS)Center of Applied Technology – North in Severn who study HVAC operation and repair.."We have been so fortunate over the years to have great partnerships with industry professionals, and this donation by Trane offers an incredible array of opportunities for our students," CAT-North Principal Dan Schaffhauser said in the press release. "This will give our HVAC students a leg up on students at virtually any other school."
A great example of just one way businesses can partner with the school system to facilitate learning and create a future workforce pipeline!
