State proposal includes funding for key education, public safety, and health initiatives
Anne Arundel County Executive Steuart Pittman issued the following statement regarding Governor Wes Moore’s 2024 Capital Budget Proposal. “I want to thank Governor Wes Moore for his support of Anne Arundel County projects in his 2024 Capital Budget Proposal. His proposal includes funding for many of our key priorities, including $10M for a new joint 911 Call Center, $5M for Crownsville Hospital Memorial Park, and $24M for improvements to schools across the county.This proposed funding will be essential in our work to improve public safety, education, and health and wellness for our residents. I look forward to working with the Governor and the General Assembly to ensure that this funding is included in the final state budget.”
